![]() Who is the XWF? Well, the following will read like a Who’s Who of Wrestling, but it is all true. In November, 2001, at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, the XWF looked like:
The head writer was Colin Bowman, who was the former editor and publisher of WCW Magazine. Many of these wrestlers went on to become Hall of Famers, including Hogan, Hart, Okerlund, Piper, Heenan, and Snuka. Sadly, a number of the wrestlers there in Orlando that November have left us, including Curt Hennig, Road Warrior Hawk (Michael Hegstrand), Emory Hale (Hail), and The Wall (Michael Tuite).
The mission of the Xcitement Wrestling Federation is to remain an organization formed by wrestlers for wrestlers. It is our ardent desire to have a place to keep wrestling superstar legacies and traditions alive for the generations of fans who fondly recall them and to give back to the community through charitable causes. We strive to expose newer fans and youngsters to what wrestling was founded upon- family entertainment at its best. The colorful, larger than life characters with distinct personalities and story lines are what entertained and touched millions. The XWF is a place to reconnect wrestling fans with the cherished memories of wrestling at its best. Whether it be in-person during matches & personal appearances, or through the numerous and varied merchandise that XWF will offer, we promise to do our best to keep the legacy of wrestling alive. Check out our shopping cart frequently to see what’s new and get the latest merchandise. The XWF also seeks to promote and develop new talent and heroes who are devoted to the principles and precepts of those who paved the way before them. The XWF will do its best to keep what made that era so special alive and accessible to the hordes of fans who are drawn to professional wrestling. |
