Who is the XWF? Well, the following will read like a Who’s Who of Wrestling, but it is all true. In November, 2001, at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, the XWF looked like:

Jimmy “The Mouth of the South” Hart
Bobby “The Brain” Heenan
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper
“The Nasty Boys” Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags
Jerry “The King” Lawler
The Shane Twins
Ian Harrison
Buff Bagwell
Hail

Jimmy Snuka, Jr.
Norman Smiley
Juventud Guerrera
Psicosis
Rena Mero
Horace Hogan
Carly Colon
The Wall
The Immortal Hulk Hogan
“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka
“Mean Gene” Okerlund

Curt Hennig
The Road Warriors
The South Philly Posse
Big Vito
Marty Janetti
Vampiro
Johnny B. Badd

Knuckles
Kid Kash
AJ Styles

... and others

The head writer was Colin Bowman, who was the former editor and publisher of WCW Magazine. Many of these wrestlers went on to become Hall of Famers, including Hogan, Hart, Okerlund, Piper, Heenan, and Snuka.

Sadly, a number of the wrestlers there in Orlando that November have left us, including Curt Hennig, Road Warrior Hawk (Michael Hegstrand), Emory Hale (Hail), and The Wall (Michael Tuite).
